  • Fine motor coordination, learning and communication disorders are often present
  • Defined as an impairment or immaturity of the organization of movement. There is an immaturity of how the brain processes information; therefore messages are not fully or properly transmitted.
  • Features – 5% of school age children, clumsy, poor athletic skills, difficulty with deficits become less as patient grows older
